Drift/ wall dive. Mainly dead coral and rubble at the top of the reef between 6 and 15 metres and often there is a lot of strong surge. Much of the coral damage was caused by a cyclone in 1998, and the reef was also subject to coral bleaching from El Niño in the same year. The reef slopes quite steeply to about 30 metres where there are some sandy patches and coral blocks. There is a variety of corals between 15 and 30 metres, including leather corals, elephant ear, gorgonians and blue corals, as well as some anemones.
